**Do you have showers?** Yes, we now offer a simple, rustic shower setup for your group. It’s basic but functional—perfect for rinsing off after a day of connection and campfire time. **What’s included in the price?** Your stay includes private use of the property, prepared campsites, a fire ring, one bundle of firewood per night, a serviced portable toilet, a handwashing station, a digital welcome guide, and a personal on-site orientation with Liz. **Do you allow pets?** Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Let’s chat about your group’s furry friends during the quote process. **Is there electricity or generator access?** We offer a portable generator that you can take to your site and use as needed. It comes prefilled with gas. If you need more fuel, you can either refill it yourself or pay a small premium for me to handle it for you. This add‑on gives you flexibility without sacrificing the rustic vibe. **Do you provide tents or bedding?** We do have a few extra tents available to rent if needed, but we recommend bringing your own camping gear so you’re comfortable with your personal setup. Let us know during the quote process if you’d like to reserve one of our rental tents. **Can we have a campfire?** Yes. Each camping area has a designated fire ring, and one bundle of firewood is included per night. Additional firewood is available for $10 per bundle. **Do you offer meals?** Yes, as add‑ons. Liz can prepare a rustic farmstead breakfast ($15/person) or a harvest hearth dinner ($22/person). We also offer a guided garden walk where your group can pick seasonal produce. **What’s your booking process?** Start by requesting a custom quote. We’ll talk about your group size, dates, and any special needs. I’ll send you a personalized quote. When you’re ready to book, I’ll provide a secure link to pay your deposit and finalize your reservation. **When is payment due?** Full payment is expected no later than **21 days before your arrival**. *If your booking is made less than 21 days before the arrival date, the full balance is due at the time of booking. Deposits are non‑refundable for no‑shows or cancellations made after the 21‑day window.* **How far in advance should I book?** We prefer bookings at least 45 days out to allow plenty of time for planning and preparation. However, we can accommodate reservations up to a year in advance—perfect for groups who like to plan ahead. **Is the property truly private?** Absolutely. We’re tucked into a very rural area of Chase, MI, with few neighbors and lots of land. As long as you can’t see the road, no one can see you. You’ll have the entire space to yourselves—no other guests, no shared spaces. **Can I visit before booking?** Yes! I’d be happy to schedule a visit liaison appointment. We’ll walk the property together, talk through your vision, and make sure The Lair feels like the right fit for your group. Just reach out to set up a time. **What if the weather is bad?** Rustic camping means embracing the elements. We offer a large teepee gathering space that provides a dry, cozy spot for your group to gather if needed. **What’s your cancellation policy?** Cancellations more than 60 days out can transfer the deposit to a future booking.
